Service Agreement- Webhosting
General: The service provider, herein known as Web9000, agrees to provide webhosting service to the client as follows.
Webhosting: Web9000 will provide to the client a limited amount of disk space for the purpose of storing their website files and related documents.
The client is responsible for all maintenance and updates of their website unless contracted to Web9000.
FTP access will be provided for this purpose.
Email accounts are provided for pop3 (incoming) email service only.
Access to the SMTP (outgoing) email server is not provided.
Unauthorized use of the server will result in termination of service.
Equipment: Web9000 agrees to maintain all Web9000 owned server(s) and equipment and to provide a reasonable amount of "uptime".
Web9000 does not accept responsibility for servers and equipment not owned by Web9000.
Web9000 is not responsible for any loss incurred due to equipment failure or interruptions of service.
Fees and Billing: Webhosting fees are due at the beginning of each billing period.
Standard billing periods are 3 months beginning January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1.
The client may choose to pay fees annually and receive a ten percent (10%) discount.
Payments: Payments may be made by check, money order or credit card.
Clients choosing to pay by credit card will be charged automatically on the first day of each billing period.
Clients choosing to pay by check or money order will be invoiced during the last 30 days of the previous billing period.
Payments must be received by the tenth (10th) day of the new billing period.
Refunds: Refunds may be provided to clients who cancel service.
Written requests for refunds and service cancellation must be submitted to Web9000.
Clients must request refunds within the first sixty (30) days of the billing period.
Termination or Refusal of Service: Web9000 reserves the right to refuse service to any client for any reason.
Web9000 may at any time choose to terminate service.
Clients wishing to terminate service must do so in writing.
Web9000 will allow a reasonable period of time for clients to retrieve files and documents from the server before removing access.
